As we're a small home business comprised of full-time activists, we can't always get your order out as rapidly as the corporate sweatshops, but we'll beat them every time in personal service (and employee happiness). And we're betting that you're just as stressed out as we are about the endless speed-ups forced onto all of us by our corporate rulers. So we ship everything BookRate via the US Postal Service, which saves us and you some money. If your book is in stock, expect your order to arrive in one to two weeks, depending on how far you live from California. If you require speedier service, we'll ship it to you by Priority Mail. Out-of-stock books take a bit longer, as do foreign orders. We'll email you if there's going to be a delay. (See the bottom of this screen for shipping rates and options.)

If your book arrives damaged, please return it within 3 days of delivery, and we'll replace it or refund your money (including return shipping charges). Or email us, and we'll send you a partial refund.

All of the online info you give us goes through a for processing, which should prevent anyone from seeing your private information. Basically, the server where this site is hosted is equipped with encryption technology that scrambles this information to prevent it from being decoded either online or as your e-mail order is transmitted across the Internet. If you're still uncomfortable giving us your credit card info online, feel free to e-mail us with your phone number, and we'll call you back for that information.

For other items, please request shipping rates. The shipping times listed are estimates, and based on titles in-stock. Out-of-stock items may take a few extra weeks to reach you. We'll e-mail you if there's a delay.

Within the US - Bookrate:	$2.75 for the first item, $1.00 EACH for the next four items, and free after that. Allow 3 days to 2 weeks for delivery, depending on your distance from CA.
Within the US - Priority Mail:	$6 for the first item, $3 EACH for the next four items, and $.50 EACH after that. Allow 3 to 6 days for delivery, depending on your distance from CA.
To Canada & Mexico - First Class International (previously called Airmail):	$7 for the first item, $5 for the next item, and $2.50 EACH after that. 4 pounds max — larger weights must ship Priority Mail. Allow 8 to 12 days for delivery, depending on your distance from CA.
To Canada & Mexico - Priority Mail:	$11 EACH for the first two items, $5 EACH for the next two items, and $2 EACH after that. Allow 6 to 10 days for delivery, depending on your distance from CA.
